Wakeline Get the app

Delete your account

This deletes your Wakeline account and everything stored against it. It cannot be undone, and it does not need our involvement.

From inside the app

Open the You tab and choose Delete everything, then confirm. Two taps, one confirmation, and it happens immediately. The path is the same on iPhone and on Android, and it is the one the privacy policy names.

Without the app

If you have already removed the app, email hello@wakelineapp.com with the subject Delete my account. A person reads it, and we will confirm when it is done.

Because a Wakeline account has no name and no email address attached to it, we need something to find it by. If you signed in with Google or Apple, write from that same address. If you never signed in, your account exists only on your phone — removing the app removes it, and there is nothing on our side to find.

What is deleted

What we never had

Your birth time, your birth place, your name and your email address never leave your phone, so there is nothing of them to delete on our side. Deleting the app removes them with it.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing tied to you. Deletion is immediate and complete across every table.

Two things survive, and neither can be traced back to a person: ordinary web server logs, which are discarded within 30 days, and a count of how many readings were generated on a given day, which carries no account and no content.

Payment records are held by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — do that in your Apple Account settings or in Google Play, and do it first if you want the billing to stop.

Just want a copy instead

You → Open settings → Export everything writes what the app holds about you into a readable file you keep. You do not have to delete anything to take it, and taking it first is the sensible order.
