Wakeline Get the app

Who makes this

Wakeline is made by Baloot.my, a small digital studio in Malaysia. It is a daily-action app: one line and one small thing to do, each morning, tuned to your birth chart and to what you said the evening before.

What we will not claim

No human astrologer writes the readings. They are produced by an AI model, server-side, and checked automatically against a set of rules before they reach a screen. We say this here, in the app's privacy policy, and in the footer of every page, because the alternative is letting people assume the flattering answer. How readings are made explains the whole pipeline.

We do not claim astrology predicts your day. The astronomy underneath is real and calculated properly. The position of the Sun and Moon at the moment you were born is a fact. What any of it means is not the kind of claim that can be checked, and we have written about that at length rather than quietly benefiting from the confusion. The chart decides which small action to suggest. It is not asked to tell you what will happen.

The app has not shipped yet. It is not on the App Store or Google Play at the time of writing. Nothing on this site should be read as a review or a track record, because there is not one.

Why it is built this way

Most apps in this category sell interpretation: more paragraphs about you, unlocked by a subscription. Paragraphs are the cheapest thing in this business. A paywall made of them is a paywall made of the ingredient that costs almost nothing.

So the daily reading, the daily action, the whole affirmations library, the widgets and the Watch app are free permanently. What Plus charges for is the record of what actually works for you. There is nothing in that record on the day you install it, and it is the one thing here worth more in three months than it is now. The reasoning is set out in free vs paid, and the prices are on the pricing page and in a plain file at /pricing.md rather than behind a trial.
